Network & Rural Network Communities
Main Street Network and Rural Network Community Partnership is open to any community through county government, a municipality, urban neighborhood/business district, Chamber of Commerce, community club, business association, community development or economic development organization regardless of district size, population or geographic location. The annual program fee includes:
- Access to limited (some fee-based with a contract) information, resources, on-site and off-site technical assistance, organizational development support, special project assistance, presentations, training on a variety of topics including design, promotion and marketing, economic vitality and organization, visioning and strategic plan development;
- Free networking and information services including the weekly email update with tips, information and resources;
- Invitation to participate in Nebraska Main Street training webinars, statewide meetings and training and the National Main Street Conference with discounted registration fees (discount extends to executive directors, board members, committee volunteers, business/property owners, tourism, economic development/Chamber leaders, community members and public officials);
- Eligibility to host statewide meetings and training including webinars;
- Partnership listing (website, annual report, promotional materials, news, social media, presentations);
- Advocacy & promotion (legislative, marketing & promotion of your activities and projects);
- Annual awards recognition;
- Access to grants when available (match required);
- Remote access to staff using ZOOM (board & committee meetings, training, special project assistance requests);
- Main Street America Partnership (optional add-on to Nebraska Main Street Network Partnership)
Network & Rural Network Community Partnership requires the Main Street Contact to:
- Attend three trainings/meetings annually;
- Notify Nebraska Main Street of changes in leadership and/or contact information.
