1801 Stone Street is a beautiful building that currently houses an insurance agency and a soon-to-open firearms retail and repair shop. The new building owner has put many hours of time and effort into remodeling the ground floor. Their passion for the large upper floor is to create a community space for children with arcade games, pool tables, impact screens, and a snack bar. Ideally, the owner would like to create a nonprofit to run the community center.
The building seems to be in great condition, having nearly all of the amenities necessary to utilize the upper floor. Resources will be geared toward the development of the upper story, providing information on nonprofits, historic restoration workers, and funding options.
Results of the survey, as well as the resource packet, will be posted once finalized.
