Capacity Grant
Nebraska Main Street Network has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Grant funds will be used to benefit Main Street communities by providing an Economic/Transformation Strategy workshop and progress visits for Designated Main Street communities.
The first visit from Main Street America (MSA) happened in March where MSA representative Jackie Swihart and NMS Director Aly Ramage visited Falls City and Beatrice. The Transformation Strategy Workshop was originally intended to be held in Falls City in March, however, weather postponed the workshop to May 22nd.
The second visit from MSA is happening May 20-22nd. Kathy LaPlante will be visiting both Fremont and Wayne as well as hosting the Transformation Strategy Workshop in Falls City.
The workshop is an all day event, starting at 9AM. Registration is open regionally to those who are interested, with ticket prices being $100. To see more information, visit our registration page!
