Create a one-of-a-kind glass pumpkin using a technique called Pate de Verre.

Using molds, instructor Dori Settles will guide students in making a small (approximately 4 inch) glass pumpkin. This will closely mimic the process she used to create the shoes featured in her "Shoes as Story-tellers" October exhibt. The pumpkins are hollow and can accommodate a small battery-operated tea light or fairy lights. The pumpkins will be fired off-site and returned a week later for pickup.

Registration deadline: Tuesday, October 1st (Class will be cancelled if at least 3 students have not registered by this date. NOTE: A mold will be made for each student - MUST have final count by October 1.)
